Gene Generation…Coming Soon I Hope…
Here’s another most awesome looking trailer for Pearry Reginald Teo’s Gene Generation that Kovacs uncovered. With Combichrist doing the music, and the awesomely hawt Bai Ling starring, this has been on my radar screen for quite some time. Unfortunately, the opening date has continually been delayed. I’m hoping we get word from Pearry soon about a release date. Rest assured I’ll be there on opening day with a review up later that evening.

‘Last I heard was that it was moved up to October. It was supposed to play at a film festival a few months back, but Pearry wasn’t happy with some of the effects shot and wanted to perfect them, so…

As SFAM mentioned, better late than never. There are countless films where the same attitude should have been used to hold back till the small flaws, and big flaws were fixed, games as well. From the looks of it this film is going to be this generation’s (pun intended) most powerful CyberPunk film, just as Blade Runner was for the 80’s.
