This was posted last month (not a year ago like all the rest of the news out there), and includes a picture of the fancy DVD set that is available.

Only a couple more months. And I am eager to own a DVD quality copy of the O.T. release. Yes, I know I am crazy for liking the original version with the voice overs. Mr. Green

Oh my gosh, way to spark controversy before the DVD has even been released. There's probably fanboys posting right now how this proves Deckard is a replicant, the graphic designer who did this is going to get punched, so hard.

Guys? It's the origami unicorn. It appears in every cut and can be interpreted in any way.

But WHY ISN'T ANYONE COMMENTING ON THE CAR!!! You get the flying police car in the box. Very Happy

I just hope I have enough money to buy the deluxe set - I have been chomping at the bit for this since I heard about it last year - only a couple months to go...

Shit, I completely overlooked that it's the origami unicorn.
I still think it's a pretty controversial choice, all the*ahem* "debate" there's been around the unicorn and whatnot.
I also missed the spinner, which goes to show I'm just as bad and narrow sighted as the fanboys :P

Well, except for the issue that Ridley Scott has already weighed in on "his" meaning for the unicorn, and modified the director's cut to steal Legend footage to add more unicorn stuff. That its on the cover seems to be a rather pointed statement on his part.

EDIT: Regarding the box set, I NEED to get a set with all the extras, but I don't know about buying the box. I've found with LOTR stuff you can get the juicy figures and so forth that come with these for a fraction off of ebay. I'm guessing this is where I'll be getting the car.

Oh, I know - I just can't think of a more fitting symbol for the set, one way or the other, can you? Smile

Now that you mention it, no. Smile

Perhaps that Asian billboard chick, but I don't know how well she'd look on a tin.

Haha, Liked the effects and those mostly naked dancer chicks must be in one of the newly added scenes.
