I'm not so much into the cybergoth fashion anymore, although I used to be. These days you are more likely to see me wearing a t-shirt and jeans.. designer t-shirt, I might add, but yeah.. different style Smile

I was always more punky than anything. Stompy-boots look good with anything and I still have a bit of a fetish for them Very Happy

God those things are expensive... the Ayya black crocodile skin boots are $172 and I consider that very pricy for boots.

I don't think I can be considered cyber gothic as such though 95% (or so) of my clothes are black. But the boots just gives a nice touch to my militaristic inspired style Smile
But yeah, I think they're extremely comfortable, it's the only pair of footwear I've ever had that didn't require some "breaking in", so to speak. I could put them on straight from box and it was like they were made for me. Perhaps I just have the exact same shape as the mock-up they used as a template...hehe...
I'm a template! (this will generally be considered the point of no return of humanity's downfall...)

Yeah, they are expensive - I bought mine in England where everything's more expensive. They are comfy though - I used to wear mine all day at work. If I had the spare cash I'd probably be a New Rock 'ho Very Happy

I must apologize for taking so long with the manifesto. Since I started writing it, it's found it's way into every little part of my life and I've become absolutely obsessed with perfecting it, so this is definately going to take longer than expected.

Just wanted to assure you that I wasn't sitting on my ass all this time, and I wanted to let you know that I don't plan on being active here while I'm writing it.

Platform boots have no tactical value - you want good boots for the price you get military jungle boots. (yes tank boots are cool but you can't run as fast in them)

Pretty is nice but I can wear my jungle boots anywhere in the wild. The soles grip just about any surface, too.

The only difference between Tanker Boots and Jungle Boots is replacing laces with straps.

Nope. Soles are thicker and heavier. "Tank," remember?

Than Jungle Boots yes, because Jungle Boots if I remember correctly, are very thin-soled. They're the same thickness as regular tactical boots though.

I used to have some old para boots, but I love my New Rocks and would never trade back in a million years. I don't spend much time in the wild.

Tomorrow (friday) is the day I envy you Americans. It's the day you can all run to verizon to get a Motorola Droid. Why CDMA? Why couldn't be AT&T GSM so I could import it and get it to work on Rogers? Why?

Oh yeah, because AT&T hates Android.

Anyone planning on getting this shiny new piece of tech?

(hey why is my avatar not showing up anymore?)

Because Verizon is hell-bent on being behind the times and they're sticking with the CDMA network because it has excellent coverage. I think they might still be piggy-backing on T-Mobile's network

I'd tend to think that AT&T wouldn't want to upset the manufacturer of their biggest seller: Apple and their iPhone.

I would if I had the grip. Maybe in a month. Also don't have Verizon contract.

File corruption? Try a reupload, I guess.

Today the postman delivered Dragon Age, the latest RPG from Bioware, so that's my weekend gone, right there.
